The screenshot is a process where users want to capture their stunning moments or scenes while playing video games and keep them on their hard drive storage, so Steam allows the player to take screenshots of the game through the Overlay.
Short keys are also used for screenshots. This is a simple process but not as intuitive but easy with the use of steam. Users can take a screenshot of any motion of the game by clicking a hotkey (F12key).
After taking the screenshot you have to create a folder where all screenshots will be collected. To access the Steam screenshot folder, you must go to the Steam installation directory.
How to Access Steam Screenshot Folder?
If you want to capture scenes of the game then you can click the F12 key for a screenshot.
You can share this screenshot anywhere on social media or show it by adding it to the profile.
It may have little confusion here. But there is also a solution to this, you can access the screenshot in two ways;
Method 1: Screenshot Manager
Screenshot Manager is the place to store screenshots in local memory through which you can view and download them anytime in the future. You can view all screenshots of the game using your Steam client.
Firstly, open your steam window, click on (view>screenshots). You can directly view your screenshots by clicking on the (show on disk) button through your hard drive.
Shots taken by default are downloaded in the automatic folder. An alternative is chrome local storage where you can place screenshots. Later you can see it using the app.
You can organize these collections anywhere according to your mind. It was updated on 12 July 2019. It does not provide a way to capture screenshots.
Method 2: Access the Screenshot Folder
On the other hand, screenshots of the game are physically saved by the users in the screenshot folder. The default location is in the Local Disk C.
Almost all users use the screenshot folder. Where all screenshots are physically saved. You can find this folder where Steam is installed.

Use cmd+shift+3 to take a full screenshot for the full-screen area or use cmd+shift+4 to take a screenshot of a particular part of the screen. You can use these folders whenever you need them in the future.
