Method 1: Fix Local Area Network (LAN) settings

Step 2: Select Control Panel from the drop-down list.
Step 3: In another windows version, you can open it just by opening the start menu.
Step 4: From the control panel select the Internet options.
Step 5: From the internet options menu select the connections tab located at the top panel and press the LAN (Local Area Network) settings.
Step 6: Uncheck every option from the LAN settings and click ok OK.
This method works when the issue caused is due to the setting of LAN (Local Area Network). In most of the cases, this method will solve the issue. But if the problem still persists you can go and check out at the next method to solve the same issue.
Method 2: Clear Browsing Data
In order to solve the error, we need to look into clearing the browser data on the device. The reason for this step is that sometimes caches and cookies may interrupt the working of the device. Clearing Browser data on Firefox –
In order to remove browser data from your device. You simply need to click 3 tabs which is ctrl+shift+del. That’s all it requires. After clicking the ctrl+shift+del you need to select the clear now option from the default menu.

Method 3: Re-installing Anti-virus
If the problem caused is due to the Anti-virus then, this method is suggested to get rid of this problem. The Anti-virus installed on your device sometimes restricts the websites that may be harmful to your device functionality. In order to solve this issue, you need to follow this method –
Step 1: Uninstall the Anti-virus from your device. To do this go to the control panel then to programs & features and uninstall the program.
Step 2: Access the internet after this step.
Step 3: If you are able to use the internet, then the reason for this problem is the Anti-virus.
Step 4: Continue to use the same and re-install and allow using the internet.
Step 5: You can also use an AVG which is a replacement for Avast for the same purpose.
This method is suited when the problem arises is due to the Anti-virus or firewall obstructing the web browser to go ahead. In such cases, try to solve the issue by following the measures explained above.
Method 4: Delete WLAN Profiles (Wireless Profiles)
If the problem is with the Wireless Local Area Networks (WLAN) then follow the below steps to solve the issue.
Step 1: Go to windows and click X to go to command prompt and chose to run as Administrator. Or you can go to search and type cmd in the task bar and chose to run as Administrator.
Step 2: Open a command prompt and type netsh wlan show profiles.
Step 3: Type the following command and remove the wifi connections from the device.
Netsh wlan delete profile name =” [profile name]”
Step 4: Follow this process for all the connected wifi networks
Step 5: Then try to reconnect to your wifi network.
Follow the steps mentioned and try to solve the issue and restart your browser to make sure that the problem is resolved.
