Filipino boxer E. Marcial was born on October 29, 1995. As an amateur, he represented the Philippines and earned silver at the 2019 World Championships and bronze at the 2020 Summer Olympics in the middleweight division.

E. Marcial has been inundated with proposals from professional boxing promoters, some of which have a 2020 deadline. MP Promotions of Manny Pacquiao is one of the groups that piqued his interest.
E. Marcial promised his father that he would fight in the 2020 Summer Olympics, and these proposals promise him as much as “tens of millions of pesos” before before each bout begins. This has prompted the Association of Boxing Alliances in the Philippines to plead to promoters to let him compete.
